Hey all – I’ve been posting a lot of stuff to buy on here lately, so I figured i’d post some free stuff today. Here’s a town map and wilderness encounter I made for my local gaming group – enjoy!
Hey all – I recently made a a water powered mill for an adventure I’m running with my local gaming group. I decided to make it a map pack for sale at DriveThruRPG for only $1.
This Map Pack contains: Maps for a water powered mill on the banks of a small river. There is a map for the ground level which contains an entry foyer, kitchen, and warehouse. There is also a second floor map that contains a study and bed chamber. Finally, there is a map of the cellar which contains the actual mill. These maps were drawn at full scale (5’ square = 1”).
Each map is provided in .JPG file format to either take to your local print shop or upload to your favorite VTT. Included in the ZIP file is both a scaled and unscaled version of the Ground and Second Floor. I have provided a labeled and unlabeled copy of those unscaled versions. Because of its small size, the cellar map is only provided in scale.
Each map is also provided in this PDF for at home printing. There will be a GM map with labels followed by successive pages of scaled images of that map (with the exception of the Cellar). Each page is overlapping &frac;12; inch with successive pages to the right and below the previous page. Print each page as Letter sized in landscape orientation with no adjustments made to scale. After they are printed simply cut away the white border and glue/tape pages together so that the overlapping parts match up for a seamless map.
This Map Pack DOES NOT contain adventure notes, stat blocks, or descriptions
Hey all – Recently had a commission for a small keep and was allowed to retain the rights to make it a map pack for sale on DriveThruRPG for only $2. Great for anyone looking to plan a big encounter for their players or players looking to buy a keep.
This Map Pack contains: Maps for Battlements, Ground Floor, Cellar Complex, and Mausoleum for a small keep. The Battlements and Ground Floor have the same landscape except that the Ground Floor map depicts the draw bridge down. The Cellar Complex contains a secret passage that leads to a ladder hidden beneath the statue in the Mausoleum Map. The Mausoleum is presumably found somewhere outside of the Keep’s walls. These maps were drawn at full scale (5’ square = 1”) and the Keep measures at about 150’ x 200’.
Each map is provided in .JPG file format to either take to your local print shop or upload to your favorite VTT. Because of the size, I have included a full resolution and half resolution copy of each in the ZIP file. I have also included a non-scaled version of each map with and without labels (except for the Mausoleum which didn’t require labels or scaling).
Each map is also provided in this PDF for at home printing. There will be a GM map with labels followed by successive pages of scaled images of that map (with the exception of the Mausoleum). Each page is overlapping &frac;12; inch with successive pages to the right and below the previous page. Print each page as Letter sized with no adjustments made to scale. The Battlements and Ground Floor should be printed in landscape orientation while the Cellar Complex should be printed in portrait orientation. After they are printed simply cut away the white border and glue/tape pages together so that the overlapping parts match up for a seamless map.

Hey all – Created a new adventure that was a hit with my gaming group. I’ve made it available for purchase at DriveThruRPG for $3.
This adventure was designed to drive your players crazy! A magical maze with teleporting doors and moving blocks…rooms filled with deadly undead and constructs…a puzzle room with multiple traps and hazards…and all while being hunted by an Obsidian Minotaur!
3.5 Compatible Adventure for 4 PCs of levels 8-10
After a near death encounter with a Behir, the Adventuring Party will accompany a nomadic tribe to the Village of Etzal. There they will witness a bizarre religious ceremony in which one of teh tribesmen is sacrificed to the deity Atesh. After some investigation, the PCs will have reason to doubt the sincerity of the village’s new religious leader and this ritual he has recently initiated. What they don’t know is that his tower is a magical maze where they will be hunted by a variety of creatures and exposed to a puzzle room where they will need to rely on their wits to avoid certain death.
With this Purchase you get:
- An Adventure book (25 pages) that includes:
- Complete Stat Blocks for all creatures and GM Reference Maps as close to the description of the encounter as possible.
- Fully developed religious mountain village (Etzal) that includes a map and descriptions of notable places and NPCs that can be used for future adventures.
- Fully developed new Religion (Order of Atesh) practiced by nomadic tribes or other desert dwellers.
- A Map Book (27 pages) that includes:
- Ready to Print, scaled (5′ = 1″) letter sized, multiple page PDFs in color for all combat encounters. No need to mess with printer settings – just print, cut the white margins, and glue/tape together so that the overlapping parts match for a seamless map.
- Zip file contains:
- Full sized JPGs for all encounters to use with your favorite VTT or to take to your local print shop.
Hey all – Needed an encounter map for a street in a small desert town. So I whipped this up in photoshop and made it available to buy ($1) at DriveThruRpg. It comes with full sized .jpgs to plug into a VTT and ready to print versions in a .pdf (8 versions in all – without or without grid, labels, color/grayscale).
Needed a jail for a last minute game i’m going to be running tomorrow, so I whipped this up over the last few hours. Jail is in the basement of the village meeting hall.
Want to print this out for your game or use it in a VTT? I have a version for sale ($1) at DriveThruRPG.
I enjoyed creating the story for my one-page dungeon entry so much that I decided to flesh it out into a complete adventure. Its available for FREE at DriveThruRPG. The 17 page pdf includes all relevant stat blocks, printable battlemaps and my entry into the one-page dungeon contest. Enjoy!
Hey all – So its been quite a while since I posted any maps…real life has been quite busy.
But…I decided to make an entry for the One-Page Dungeon Contest and have a Work in Progress that can be seen here.
I will of course post the map on here once its done…but was also thinking about formally writing the adventure for it in a nice PDF format with battle maps, stats, etc. My thought is to make it available for purchase on DriveThruRPG.com for cheap.
So – be patient…I haven’t forgotten about this site and will be doing more maps and posting them in the future.
Real life has kept me busy for quite a while. Finally got a little bit of a break and decided to redo a map from an old-school D&D adventure. “Drums on Fire Mountain” (X8) seems like a really cool adventure that i’d like to run at some point, so I figured i’d start there. The broader plan is to map the whole adventure…but there are a lot of maps in this one, so we’ll see how far I get. But for now, here’s a small map of the entrance to an underground temple complex.
Made with CC3 and some symbols from the Dunjinni Forums. Text and post-effects done in Photoshop.
Here’s an encounter map for the adventure (T2)….the unsuspecting PCs come across a stump in the middle of a clearing…and it happens to be occupied by a Tarantella.
